Severe Weather Awareness week is scheduled for the last week in March this year. The dates are March 27-31. March 29 will be the annual tornado drill beginning at 10 a.m. with a test watch. A test warning will be issued at approximately 10:15 a.m. and the drill ends at approximately 10:30 a.m.
Sirens will be activated in most communities, as well as test messages across the weather radios. If that day is not appropriate because of storms, then it will be delayed to Thursday.
