Youth Soccer
Camp
The Creston Community High School soccer teams and coaches are hosting a youth soccer camp on Saturday, March 18.
The session for third-eighth grade students will be held from 1 to 4 pm. at the high school soccer practice field north of the high school. The session for kindergarten-second grade is 10 a.m. to noon.
Deadline for registration is Friday, Feb. 24. Cost is $45 if received by deadline and $55 if registered after deadline. If interested, pick up a registration form at Creston Elementary/Middle School or contact one of the coaches by email at kimberly@nonavia.com or ldiaconu@crestonschools.org.
Summer ball
Registrations for Creston Baseball/Softball Inc. youth leagues are due on March 3.
Forms are available at local schools and should be mailed to the address on the form. Checks are payable to Creston Baseball/Softball Inc.
Registration fee of $40 per child includes a shirt and hat/visor. Multiple child discounts per family are $35 for second child, $30 for third child. Those with more than three are asked to contact the board for information, email at crestonbaseballsoftball@gmail.com.
Baseball leagues are Rookie (second and third grades), Minor (fourth-fifth grades) and Major (sixth-eighth grades). Softball leagues are Junior (second-fourth grades) and Senior (fifth-seventh grades).
Adult coaching and umpiring volunteers are needed. Those interested can indicate on the registration form.
