More than 150 people enjoyed a great New Year’s Eve dance at the Chicken Inn Saturday evening. Thanks to Kevin and Debbi Glick, owners of the Chicken Inn; Jim and Betty Spangler, bartenders (soda, coffee, and water were served); and the “Country Classics” band, featuring Norma Crawford, Kevin Creveling, Ron Dupuy, Bill Livingston and Dick Stevens who put together a night of fun dancing for 147 guests.

Everyone had a great time, which showed me that lots of people can dance and have fun without alcohol or other substances. Everyone is welcome to come to dances at the Chicken Inn every first and third Saturday or the jam sessions from 6 to 9 p.m. every Wednesday.

I look forward to another great New Year’s Eve dance next year at the Chicken Inn.
