No citations were issued after an accident 10:20 a.m. Thursday on High and Dry Road.

According to a Union County Sheriff report, Hunter Lee Barker, 18, of Creston, driving a 2004 Chevrolet north on High and Dry Road, lost control of the vehicle because of the slick conditions, went into the west ditch and through a barbed-wire fence.

Damage estimates were $5,000 to Barker’s vehicle and $200 to the fence.
