Tyler Dean Cashman, 20, of Murray died Monday, Jan. 2, 2017, at his home near Murray.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, at Kale Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., in Osceola with the Rev. Brian McCracken officiating. Interment will follow in Hopeville Cemetery. Visitation with family present will be from 5 to 7 pm. Thursday, Jan. 5, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to his family to be decided later. Tyler Dean Cashman, son of LaVerne Dean Cashman and Rachelle (Camp) Cashman, was born Feb. 1, 1996, in Des Moines. Tyler has always lived in the Murray area, and graduated from Murray High School with the class of 2014. He attended Southwestern Community College and received his associate degree in 2016. Tyler just started his new job working in the TLE at Wal-Mart in Creston. 

Tyler is survived by his parents, LaVerne and Rachelle Cashman of Murray; brother Cyrus Cashman of Osceola; grandparents, Jim and Shelly Camp of Peru; grandmother Shirley Cashman of Irving, Texas; great-grandmother, Lois Paxton of Creston; aunt LaRae Nadler of Irving, Texas; uncle Ben (Carri) Camp of Peru; as well as other relatives and many friends.

Tyler was preceded in death by his grandfather Donald Cashman; great-grandfather Dillard Paxton and great-grandparents, Clell and Evelyn Camp, Arthur and Anna Cashman and Bill and Minnie Brown.
