Loudon, McAdoo wed in October ceremony

BONDURANT — Hilary Loudon and Tyler McAdoo were married Oct. 15 at Sugar Grove Vineyards in Newton.

The bride is the daughter of Patrick and Korina Loudon of Creston. The groom is the son of Violet and Jeff Flug of Newton and Mark and Marcia McAdoo of Ankeny.

Matron of honor was Jessica Irvin, sister of the bride. Maid of honor was Dana Howe, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Ashley McGehee, Tiffany Sult and Linzi Weston, friends of the bride.

Flowergirls were Addison Irvin, niece of the bride, and Delaney Howe, daughter of friend of the bride.

The bride wore a Maggie Sottero gown with ivory lace over light gold tulle. The A-line gown had a chapel train, scalloped lace hem and sweetheart neckline. A custom-jeweled belt was added to the dress and the bride wore a custom-jeweled headband with cathedral tulle veil.

The bridesmaids wore Rob De Soiree V-neck rose-gold sequined gowns. All wore matching custom-jeweled barrettes in their hair.

Best man was Spencer McAdoo, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Connor McAdoo, brother of the groom, Randy Handon and Chris Gesink, friends of the groom, and Cody Irvin, brother-in-law of the bride. Usher was Eli Loudon, nephew of the bride.

A reception was held immediately after the ceremony at Sugar Grove Vineyards.

The bride is a 2010 graduate of Creston High School. She is currently attending Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines to earn a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She is currently employed as patient care technician at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Newton High School in Newton. He is currently employed as electrician at Van Maanen Electric in Des Moines.

After a honeymoon at Catalonia Royal Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple now reside in Bondurant.
