DES MOINES — Taylor Rheanne Hance and Cody James Malloy were married July 30 at Luther Memorial Church at Grand View University in Des Moines.
The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Angie Hance of Creston and granddaughter of Peggy Worl of Independence, Kansas. The groom is the son of David and Beth Malloy and grandson of Anna Mae Oline, all of Des Moines.
The Rev. Russell Lackey officiated the ceremony. Organist was Claudia Holcomb.
Maid of honor was Madison Hance of Creston, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kara Newcomb of Sumter, South Carolina, Krystal Dagget of Winterset and Chelsey Purdum of Grandville, Michigan, friends of the bride.
Flowergirl was Brooklyn Marks, friend of the groom.
The bride wore a soft white A-line wedding gown with metallic lace detail. The bridesmaids wore varying styles of dark purple chiffon dresses with pleated bodices.
Best man was Chase Malloy of Des Moines, twin brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Tommy Hanian and Chad Rouse, both of Des Moines, and Wesley Dawson of Grimes. Ushers were Rich and Tina Coggeshall.
Ringbearer was Ryan Dubill, cousin of the bride.
A dinner and dancing reception was held immediately after the ceremony at Holiday Inn Des Moines – Downtown Mercy Area. Guests chose from bisignano-marinated chicken or bone-in, herb-encrusted Iowa pork chop with sides of macaroni and cheese with andouille sausage and green beans with applewood-smoked bacon. Cake was provided by Creme in Des Moines with flavors including strawberry angel, Bailey’s and Guinness, winter white out and chocolate indulgence.
The bride is a 2014 graduate of Grand View University with a degree in biology and minor in chemistry. She is currently attending Iowa State University in Ames to earn a degree in veterinary medicine.
The groom is a 2013 graduate of Grand View University with a degree in criminal justice. He is currently employed as heavy equipment operator for McAninch Corporation in Des Moines.
The couple reside in Des Moines.
