Thanks so much to the 83 individuals, Bunn-O-Matic and Southwestern Community College volunteers who have come forward to read with first-graders every week. It is greatly appreciated.
Although the response has been wonderful, we have two Creston Elementary classes that need additional volunteers. The Thursday from 11:55 a.m. to 12:25 p.m. time slot is short 10 volunteers and Wednesday from 11:55 a.m. to 12:25 p.m. slot is short five volunteers.
Please consider volunteering to read 30 minutes per week with a first-grader. You can help them improve their reading skills and provide another caring adult in their lives.
