WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF YOUR JOB? Opening accounts, membership services, administrative work; previously was the loan clerk

WHAT MAKES A CREDIT UNION DIFFERENT FROM A BANK? It is a member-owned cooperative and profits go back to members rather than stockholders, which allows us to have lower interest rates on loans and better dividends on savings.

WHAT ARE YOUR INTEREST RATES ON CERTIFICATES OF DEPOSIT? The highest is 1.7 percent on five years, and the lowest is .35 percent on six months.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU WORKED FOR NISHNA? 22 years total. I started when it was still Bluegrass Federal Credit Union, and it merged into Nishna in 2005.

BEST PART OF YOUR JOB: Working with members and helping the "little guy" – helping low-income people become financially self-sufficient

NUMBER OF NISHNA MEMBERS: As of the end of September, 5,424 combined members between Creston and Atlantic

AGE RANGE OF CLIENTS: All ages. We even have a kids' club for ages 0 to 12 for kids to earn prizes when they save money.

BUSIEST DAY OF THE YEAR AT NISHNA: Nov. 1 when Christmas Clubs are distributed to members
