Erik Wesley Witt, 38, 906 E. Howard St., was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, posession of a controlled substance and public intoxication 10:47 p.m. Saturday at 108 N. Elm St..

According to a Creston Police report, Witt did possess a pipe containing marijuana residue at 108 N. Elm St. A metal pipe with plant material was found in his left front pants pocket and a bag containing marijuana in his back pocket. He was also intoxicated.

He was released on $1,000 bond.

Heather Fay Scarberry, 35, 1202 N. Division St., was charged with public intoxication 11:30 p.m. Saturday at North Elm Street.

According to a Creston Police report, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Elm Street for a fight. Upon arrival, officers talked with several subjects, one of which was Scarberry. While talking with Scarberry, officers observed the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her person. Scarberry consented to a breath test that indicated a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit.

Scarberry was released on $300 bond.

Jake Allen Davis, 36. 1104 N. Sycamore St., was charged with public intoxication 2:05 a.m. Sunday at 119 N. Walnut St.

According to a Creston Police report, while on routine patrol, officers observed Davis urinating outside Colburns Corner Saloon. While speaking with Davis, officers observed Davis with blood-shot eyes and the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person as he swayed while standing and slurred his words.

Davis was released on $300 bond.

Shaeina Laitaija Allison, 28, 231 N. Lincoln St., was charged with fourth degree theft 5 p.m. Sunday at 806 Laurel St.

According to a Creston Police report, officers received a report from Wal-Mart about possible shoplifters. Officers spoke to the individuals who were identified by Wal-Mart employees who were said to have placed items in a cart and left the store with those items without paying for them. The items totalled more than $200.

Allison was released on $1,000 bond.

Joseph Dean Baze-Gaiser, 33, 231 S. Lincoln St., was charged with fourth degree theft 5 p.m. Sunday at 806 Laurel St.

According to a Creston Police report, officers were dispatched to Wal-Mart in regards to a theft. Officers spoke with two individuals identified by Wal-Mart employees. The employees observed the individuals placed items into a cart and walked out of the store without paying for them. The total of the items was $200. The male subject of the two individuals was identified as Baze-Gaiser. Baze-Gaiser was taken into custody and transported to the Union County Law Enforcement Center.

Baze-Gaiser was released on $1,000 bond.

Christopher Adam Fannon, 28, 310 N. Oak St. Apt. 1, was charged with intoxication and disorderly conduct because of fighting or violent behavior 12:10 a.m. Monday at the corner of Maple and Montgomery streets.

According to a Creston Police report, officers were called to a fight taking place. Officers located Fannon and observed bumps and redness on his face. Fannon made admissions and statements about fighting another male on the street. While talking with Fannon, officers observed an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person. Fannon also made admissions and statments about drinking at the bar.

Fannon was being held awaiting a bond.

Tyler Dillon McKay, 24, 701 W. Jefferson St., was charged with second degree public intoxication and disorderly conduct because of fighting or violent behavior 12:12 a.m. Monday while at the intersection of N. Maple and E. Montgomery streets.

According to a Creston Police report, McKay was involved in a fight. Mckay was also intoxicated at the time. McKay admitted to consuming alcohol and fighting with another male after a disagreement at the bar.

McKay was being held awaiting bond.

Dakota Dean Rosch, 21, 100 W. Ringgold St., was charged with driving while license denied or revoked 5:36 p.m. Monday at the intersection of West Adams and North Maple streets.

According to a Creston Police report, Rosch was observed by officers driving on West Adams Street in a Chevrolet. He turned into a parking lot and was approached by officers. His license was revoked for operating while intoxicated test failure. He was taken into custody and transported to the Union County Law Enforcement Center.

Rosch was released on $1,000 bond.

Elizabeth Jane Nelson, 34, 1003 N. Birch St., was charged with operating while under the influence 3:37 p.m. Monday at the intersection of North Cherry and East Townline streets.

According to a Creston Police report, Nelson was in operation of a motor vehicle in Creston. She consented to the standardized field sobriety test and the preliminary breath testing that indicated impairement. Nelson was taken into custody and consented to DataMaster testing that indicated a blood alcohol concentration of .203.

Nelson was released on $1,000 bond.

Shane Lee Sanden, 40, 201 W. Mills St. Apt. 5, was charged with public intoxication 2:05 a.m. today at North Elm Street.

According to a Creston Police report, Sanden was seen staggering while walking down the sidewalk in the 200 block of North Elm Street. His speech was slurred and he could hardly stand. He refused the DataMaster test for alcohol.

Sanden was being held on bond.
