Firefighters were dispatched to a garage fire 9:10 p.m. Sunday on West Jefferson Street.
According to a Creston Fire report, firefighters were dispatched to 804 W. Jefferson St., for a garage on fire. Upon arrival, firefighters found fire coming from the corner of the building, owned by Mattson Property Management. Firefighters extinguished the fire and overhauled hot spots. Damage was confined to the garage and contents.
Damage estimate is $9,000.
