David Kragel, 1972 graduate of Corning High School and 1974 graduate of Southwestern Community College, will be inducted into Southwestern's Athletic Hall of Fame at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, in the SWCC Student Center gymnasium.
Kragel played basketball at SWCC and Oklahoma State University before starting a coaching career of women's basketball at Walters State Community College in Tennessee. He has surpassed 900 wins as a coach, ranking fifth all-time in the National Junior College Athletic Association.
The ceremony will precede a volleyball match between SWCC and Iowa Lakes.
