Kane Allen Michael Farlow, 18, 1106 W. Montgomery St., was charged on a Union County warrant for operating while intoxicated 11 a.m. Tuesday at Union County Jail.
According to a Creston Police report, at 6:30 p.m. July 20, Farlow was driving a motor vehicle. Farlow was involved in an accident after running from police. Officers observed possible signs of impairment from Farlow. Officers invoked implied consent and requested a urine sample from Farlow. Farlow consented to the urine sample. The sample came back from the Department of Criminal Investigations lab as positive for amphetamines and marijuana metabolites.
Farlow was being held on $11,000 bond.

Brandie Whitney, 617 N. Pine St., reported a 42-inch television was taken and a safe was damaged between 8 p.m. Monday and 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at her residence.
Damage and loss estimates are $430.

Sheryl Dillenger, 400 S. Vine St., reported the driver’s side window of her vehicle was damaged between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 6:25 a.m. today while it was parked at her residence.
