Ford Motor Company recently verified the Drive 4UR Community Event that was held as a fundraiser for Adair County Fair on July 9 was a success.
Thanks to the more than 300 people who came out to the fundraiser, Creston Automotive will present a check for $6,000 to the Adair County Fair Board.
“We were extremely excited when we got the official word from Ford Motor Company. It is always a great call to make when you get to tell the group you’re working with that the $6,000 goal was officially met,” said Terry Freeman, event coordinator. “This lofty goal wouldn’t have been possible without the great support of the community and the hard work of the fair board. This is truly an example of what the Drive 4UR Community program is all about.”
The check will be presented to the Adair County Fair Board at its next regular meeting Sept. 7.
