Bill Chrastil to hold concert in Corning

CORNING – Making a return appearance to the Corning Opera House Cultural Center is Bill Chrastil, 2016 Texans Male Vocalist of the Year. Bill will perform music from many legends 7 p.m. Friday.

Chrastil is a well-versed artist with a high-energy show. He has been performing since 1983. In addition to his vocals, he is also an accomplished songwriter, producer and instrumentalist. He plays guitar, piano bass guitar, drums and harmonica.

Bill has been honored with numerous awards throughout his career. While performing in Branson, Missouri, he received awards including Best Gospel CD of the Year, Best Vocal Impressionist of the Year and Best Horizon Show of the Year. He has been inducted into the Nebraska and South Dakota Country Music Hall of Fame and is a member of the Nashville Songwriters Association.

The Bill Chrastil Show infuses hits from the ‘50s and ‘60s, country, classic rock and original songs with a little humor and audience involvement added in. The well-known segment of his show is his salute to music legend Elvis Presley.
