Drive 4UR Community event successful in Greenfield

GREENFIELD – Creston Automotive and Ford Motor Company joined forces to bring the Drive 4UR Community event to the Adair County Fairgrounds on Saturday, July 9.

“The day was perfect in every sense,” said Terry Freeman, event organizer. “The weather was absolutely fantastic, and the support from the Greenfield and Adair County community was even better. People started to flow in early, as the first people to sign up came in at 7:45 a.m., and we submitted close to 330 registration forms to Ford’s Drive 4UR Community Headquarters, so I would say it was a successful day. We, of course, have to wait for Ford to conduct their audit before we can proclaim victory, but things definitely look good.”

Ford’s process can take six to eight weeks to process before the official dollar amount raised will be released.
