Baseball districts released

Creston junior Cody Crawford pitches during game two of Thursday's Hawkeye 10 Conference doubleheader against Council Bluffs St. Albert at Panther Field. Creston will be in Class 3A District 15 in the psotseason, along with Atlantic, Glenwood and Winterset.

Baseball districts have been announced for the upcoming postseason tournaments.

In Class 3A, Creston is in District 15 along with Atlantic, Glenwood and Winterset. District 16 features Carroll, Denison-Schleswig, Harlan and Storm Lake.

In Class 2A, Clarke and Interstate 35 are in District 12 along with Earlham, Panorama, Van Meter and West Central Valley.

Southwest Valley is in Class 2A District 15 along with Clarinda, Red Oak, Shenandoah, Treynor and Underwood.

In Class 1A, East Union, Lenox, Mount Ayr, Murray, Nodaway Valley and Orient-Macksburg are in District 14. District 13 features Central Decatur, Colfax-Mingo, Iowa Christian Academy, Lynnville-Sully, Martensdale-St. Marys, Melcher-Dallas, Mormon Trail, Southeast Warren and Wayne.

Pairings will be released at a later date.
