Creston firefighters responded to a car fire 5:32 p.m. Wednesday on New York Avenue.
According to a Creston Fire report, firefighters were dispatched to a car fire. Firefighters arrived and a civilian had used a fire extinguisher to put out the fire. Firefighters used a wet water extinguisher to cool a hot spot.
No damage estimate is available.
