Accidents

No citations were issued after an accident 6:13 p.m. Monday on Livingston Avenue.

According to a Creston Police report, Dena Melinda Chapman, 3035 180th St., driving a 2000 Ford, was driving to drive forward out of a parking space to leave a parking lot when the vehicle revved, skipped out of drive and went into reverse, where it backed into David Jon Danielson, 69, 909 N. Division St., and pinned Danielson between Chapman’s vehicle and Danielson’s vehicle, a 2004 Dodge. Danielson was in front of his vehicle, which was parked directly behind Chapman’s vehicle.

Danielson was transported by ambulance to Greater Regional Medical Center, where his condition is currently unavailable.

Damage estimate is $200 to Danielson’s vehicle.

No citations were issued after an accident 8:44 p.m. Monday at the intersection of North Elm and West Summit streets.

According to a Creston Police report, a 2006 Chevrolet was legally parked in the driveway at 503 N. Elm St., when a vehicle traveling through the alley drove south into the yard behind the residence and collided into the rear passenger side of the Chevrolet, causing minor damage to the vehicle. Witnesses who gave statements believe the suspected vehicle was a red pickup truck.

Damage estimate is $3,000 to the parked Chevrolet.

No citations were issued after an accident 1:55 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of South Walnut and East Lucas streets.

According to a Creston Police report, Dawn Gaylene Robins, 51, of Weldon, driving a 2000 Dodge east on East Lucas Street, ran a stop sign and, in the intersection, hit a 2000 Chevrolet driven north on South Walnut Street by Rose Marie Beaman, 66, 301 E. Clark St.

Damage estimates are $1,500 to Robins’ vehicle and $4,500 to Beaman’s vehicle.
