Brenda Lee Bond, 41, of Fontanelle was cited for operating a non-registered vehicle after an accident 10:13 a.m. Jan. 22 on North Sumner Avenue.

According to a Creston Police report, Aric Glen Bishop, 27, of Clive, driving a 2007 Ford north on North Sumner Avenue, was stopped in the left lane waiting to turn left into a driveway when Bond, driving a 2004 Kia north on North Sumner Avenue, saw Bishop’s vehicle stopped, hit the brakes and was unable to stop, sliding into the back of Bishop’s vehicle. Bond said she just started sliding when she hit the brakes, and that is why she could not stop in time.

Damage estimates are $1,200 to Bond’s vehicle and $500 to Bishop’s vehicle.
