Library news

The following events are at the Gibson Memorial Library, located at 200 W. Howard St. in Creston. Regular library hours are 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Monday and Wednesday; 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; and 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday. The library is closed on Sunday. January adult events

The Re-Readers Race ends 6 p.m. Jan. 8. Turn in your completed reading sheets and find out who has read the most books from the selected list of titles. A library tote filled with gifts will be awarded to the one who has read the most titles.

The adult winter reading program begins this January and runs through March. Theme and dates will be announced later.

An adult coloring program will be held this January. This is an adults’ only program scheduled for the afternoon. Detailed coloring pages will be provided along with coloring supplies. The program is free. Date and time will be announced later.
