David Dwain White, 51, 210 N. Oak St. Apt. 1, was charged with public intoxication 10:30 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of North Oak Street.

According to a Creston Police report, officers received a call at the apartments at 110 N. Oak St. about a man who was pushing everyone’s call buttons in the lobby. Officers found White in the lobby and asked what he was doing, and he said he was there to see a friend. Officers could smell alcohol on his person, and White admitted to drinking too much. Officers took a pocket knife and a fixed blade knife from White. He refused a preliminary breath test and DataMaster test.

White was released on $300 bond.

Harry Lee Walters, 67, 805 W. Montgomery St., was charged with second-offense operating while intoxicated 6:05 p.m. Saturday at the Union County Law Enforcement Center.

According to a Creston Police report, Walters was operating a vehicle when officers came into contact with him. Walters had an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person and made admissions to drinking. He consented to standardized field sobriety tests and a preliminary breath test, which indicated impairment. He consented to a DataMaster test, with a result of .122.

Walters was released on $2,000 bond.

Demion Gustuff Garrison, 36, 810 W. Adams St. Apt. 2, was charged with disorderly conduct 9:50 p.m. Saturday at his residence.

According to a Creston Police report, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of someone in the apartment yelling and fighting. Upon arrival, officers determined Garrison was inside his residence and was fighting with his brother. Officers could hear Garrison yelling from outside the residence, and upon entering the apartment, he continued to be out of control and was yelling at officers.

Garrison was released on $300 bond.
