Michael Kingery

Michael Kingery, 55, of Creston died on Friday, Nov. 13, 2015, at Greater Regional Hospice Home in Creston.

Celebration of life visitation will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at the Eagles Club in Creston. Memorials are to the family. Online condolences may left at www.powersfh.com.

Michael Lee Kingery, son of Karen Delilah (Walters) and Lawrence Lee Kingery, was born May 7, 1960, in Guthrie Center. Michael attended South East Polk High School.

After school, Michael worked a variety of different jobs, but the one that he enjoyed the most was driving trucks.

In May of 1986, Michael married Emily Donehoo in Yankton, South Dakota. They settled in Norfolk, Nebraska, before moving to Fontanelle in 1990. They later divorced. In 1997, Michael moved to Creston.

Michael is survived by his daughter Holly Donehoo (Josh Smith) of Creston; sons, Floyd (Abbie) Donehoo of Lenox and Robert Kingery (Ashlee Willets) of Creston; and sisters, Diane Ford of New Mexico, Debbie Hingeley of Diagonal, Christy Kingery of Mount Ayr, Cathy McNear of Mount Ayr, Kaye Dee (Vern) Liesener of Diagonal and Wendy Frank (Donnie Gillespie) of Missouri.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents; brothers-in-law, Ron Ford, Tom Hineley and Dean McNear; and a grandson Corbin Donehoo.
