Greater Regional Medical Center welcomed Alexandra L. Kerber, PharmD, as pharmacy director this October.
Kerber completed her pharmacy degree at the University of Iowa in 2014.
While completing her degree, she had the opportunity to intern in the Greater Regional pharmacy department. Since graduation, she has worked in retail pharmacy locations in Atlantic and Winterset.
“I am very excited about working at Greater Regional Medical Center,” Kerber said. “Having interned here, I knew what a great team we have in the pharmacy department. I am also looking forward to working in a more clinical setting at a medical center with such a great reputation.”
Kerber will be working alongside Larry Richardson, RPh, current director of Greater Regional pharmacy. Richardson is preparing for retirement in the coming months.
“I am pleased to have the opportunity to work with Larry the next few months,” Kerber said. “His experience and dedication are significant and he has established a strong pharmacy presence at the medical center.”
