GREENFIELD — The Republican Party of Adair County’s annual Lincoln Dinner will be headlined by presidential candidate Carly Fiorina of California.
The party fundraiser will be held the evening of Nov. 13 at the Warren Cultural Center in Greenfield, with a 6 p.m. reception followed by a 6:30 p.m. dinner in the auditorium.
Fiorina is a former CEO of technology giant Hewlett-Packard and has made a name for herself in the last few debates after entering the race for president in May.
Other confirmed attendees are State Sen. Jake Chapman of Adel and State Rep. Clel Baudler of Greenfield, with several other prominent Republicans invited and anticipated to attend. The master of ceremonies for the evening will be Republican Party of Iowa Co-Chairman Dr. Cody Hoefert of Rock Rapids.
Tickets for the event are $50 and may be ordered through the local party's website, www.adair.gop, or by contacting party treasurer Vicki Brown at 641-745-2342. RSVPs recorded by Oct. 27 will also receive a complimentary ticket to the Republican Party of Iowa's major fall event, the Growth and Opportunity Party, hosted at the Iowa State Fairgrounds on Oct. 31, normally $15.
