Thousands of libraries, schools and bookstores across the country will also celebrate with events centered on this year’s theme, Get Away @ your Library. During the month of October, students grades six through 12 will receive a bookmark kit when they check out a book at the library. Teens can also participate by picking up a bingo grid to fill out and return for a grab bag prize.

Here’s a story of a man who lives and breathes organization: meals, work, clothing, exercise, etc. A brilliant yet socially challenged professor of genetics who has decided it’s time for a wife. So he designs the Wife Project to find the perfect partner. Then along comes Rosie. “The Rosie Project” is by Graeme Simsion. It is filled with a lot of humor and is a wonderful account of a person who has to accept that perfection is something quite imperfect, especially with Rosie.
