CLARINDA — A Clarinda woman died after an accident 4:55 p.m. Monday in Page County.
According to an Iowa State Patrol report, Joanna Lynne Goudie, 52, of Clarinda, driving a 1999 Buick west on 265th Street, entered the intersection of 265th Street and Highway 71 and was struck broadside by a 2014 Dodge driven south on Highway 71 by Toby D. Holloman, 50, of Soloman, Kansas.
Goudie, who had not been wearing a seat belt, was deceased at the scene, and Holloman was transported to Clarinda Hospital for injuries. His condition is unknown at this time.
Iowa State Patrol, Page County Sheriff’s Office, Clarinda Fire Department and Clarinda EMS responded to the accident.
