LENOX — Lenox defeated Central Decatur Thursday, 25-15, 20-25, 25-13, 25-18.
“Shantelle Brown had a big night, serving and digging stuff up for us,” said Lenox coach Sara Dukes. “Mika Weaver, Jacy Stoaks and Brooke Miller had big nights for us well.”
Brown had 20 digs and served 25-26 with two aces for the Tigers (7-11). Weaver had a team-high 14 kills and three solo blocks, and Stoaks had 12 kills. Stoaks also had five solo blocks. Weaver served 11-13 with two aces. Christensen finished with 19 setting assists and Mitchell had 15.
The active defense, beyond Brown’s 20 digs, included 15 by Bethany Christensen and Stoaks, 14 by Weaver and 12 by Hannah Mitchell.
Jentri Hullinger had eight kills for Central Decatur (6-11). Raegan Boothe had seven kills. Lily Simon had 20 digs and 21 setting assists. Hullinger had five total blocks. Alex Graham served 13-13 with two aces.
Central Decatur plays at Interstate 35 tonight, while Lenox hosts Nodaway Valley.
