Raymond Scott Davis, 34, of Earlham was charged on an Adair County warrant for third-degree harassment 3:53 a.m. Sept. 27 in Adair County.

Davis was released on $300 bond.

Jason Bruce King, 36, of Stuart was charged with third-offense operating while intoxicated and driving while suspended 1:36 p.m. Sept. 27 in Adair County.

According to an Adair County Sheriff report, at 4:58 p.m. May 25, officers were called to a single all-terrain vehicle accident with a personal injury. King was the operator of said ATV. The investigation caused officers to invoke implied consent on King and obtain a blood sample from him. The sample was sent to the Division of Criminal Investigation lab for analysis. It showed a blood alcohol content of .209 for King at the time of the accident. Officers have been advised King has returned to Texas, and so is no longer in the area to follow up on the matter.

King was released on his own recognizance.

David Joseph Convery, 60, of Greenfield was charged with public intoxication and simple assault 7:41 p.m. Sept. 27 in Adair County.

According to an Adair County Sheriff report, at 6:45 p.m. Sept. 27, Convery was intoxicated on a public roadway. Two witnesses said Convery consumed two bottles of wine and proceeded to enter a public roadway. Convery admitted to consuming two bottles of wine, leaving his property and entering a public roadway. Convery took a preliminary breath test that indicated a blood alcohol content of above .08.

Convery also did knowingly assault Ryan Michael Gross by striking him in the face with a closed fist. The assault did not cause any bodily harm. Statements were given by Gross and a witness at the residence. Convery admitted to striking Gross.

Convery was released on $300 bond.

Taylor Florencio Kraus, 23, of Des Moines was charged with driving under suspension 10:51 p.m. Friday in Adair County.

According to an Adair County Sheriff report, officers stopped Kraus, who was traveling 76 miles per hour south in the 2200 block of Highway 25 10:18 p.m. Friday. Kraus was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license.

Kraus was released on $300 bond.

John William Scott, 52, of Mount Ayr was charged with second-offense operating while intoxicated 11:48 p.m. Saturday in Adair County.

Scott was released on $2,000 bond.
