Dakota Farris, 22, 702 S. Poplar St. Apt. 1, was charged on a Marshall County warrant for failure to serve a jail sentence 4 p.m. Monday at Union County Law Enforcement Center.

Farris was released to the custody of Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.

Clinton Ward Lovely, 42, 505 W. Buckeye St., was charged with operating while intoxicated 12:28 a.m. Tuesday near the intersection of North Spruce Street and Crest Drive.

According to a Creston Police report, Lovely was stopped for a traffic violation 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, and during the stop Lovely showed significant signs of impairment. Lovely’s speech was slurred, and he appeared to be dazed and somewhat confused and exhibited a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage as he spoke. Lovely refused field sobriety testing, and also refused a preliminary breath test. Lovely was charged and transported to Union County Law Enforcement Center, where he refused the Data Master test.

Lovely was released on $1,000 bond.
