Highland Highlights
Highland Highlights held their first meeting of the new year on Sept. 13.
We elected our 2015-16 officers. Our president is Macy Evans, vice-president is Caitlin McIlravy, secretary is Ann Waigand, treasurer is Emily Robinson, reporters are Halle Evans and Tyler Louden, historians are Keegan Bailey, Micah Stephens and Aubrey Allen and photographers are Hannah Dryden, Macy Adamson, Owen Allen, McCoy Haines and Kolby Bailey.
Re-enrollment and new enrollments need to be done online by Nov. 1.
The leaders established a new attendance policy and all members must sign themselves in at meetings. Attendance at four meetings is required to exhibit at the county and state fairs.
County youth council applications are due to the extension office by Oct. 1, and record books are due Nov. 2. National 4-H Week is Oct. 4 - 10, and all of our members are encouraged to participate in the daily events.
The next meeting will be Oct. 11 at the SWCC building.
