Since I know Judy Woods personally and probably better than anyone else, I want to write a letter of support for her write-in candidacy for Creston Community School Board of Directors. She has long talked about serving and when she received calls asking her to run, she finally decided to take the step toward being a part of this board.
Judy has invaluable experience both as an administrator and teacher. Due to our moving with my retail employment over the years, she has taught in Golden, Colo., Scottsbluff, Neb., Lincoln, Neb., Oelwein, Orient and Corning, and was principal at Massena. She has excellent teaching credentials as demonstrated by the fact that she was hired by each of these districts without delay when we moved. Judy has been active in each community that we have lived in and has served as president and other officer positions at our church and in many other community organizations.
Please write in and fill in the oval with Judy Woods for Creston Community School Board on Tuesday, Sept. 8. Polling places open for school board elections are the Afton Methodist Church, Southwest Iowa Community College (SWCC) and Crest Baptist Church.
