OTTUMWA—A rapid needs assessment course is planned from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 3 at Wapello County EOC, 330 W. Second St., Ottumwa.
This one-day course teaches local governments to perform a rapid needs assessment accurately and within the first few hours after an incident or emergency. The assessment is critical to providing a response designed to save lives.
