Maxine (Barnett) Norris, 97, of Mount Ayr died Aug. 22, 2015, at Clearview Home in Mount Ayr.

At Maxine’s request, there will be no services. Memorial gifts may be sent to the Mount Ayr Library or Gibson Memorial Library in Creston.

Maxine is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marjorie and B.K. Showalter and her large and extended family, many friends and former students.
