LENOX—The Salem Church of the Brethren, a little country church located at rural 2448 Redwood Ave. in Lenox, has been getting a facelift this summer to get ready to reopen for regular Sunday services.
The new preacher Tony Johnson, and his wife, Annie West-Johnson, invite you to join them on Sunday, Aug. 30, with cookies and coffee beginning at 9:30 a.m. followed by a worship service 10:30 a.m. The theme for the opening Sunday will be “A Building from Past to Present” with Annie sharing a presentation on the history of the Salem church and Tony presenting a sermon on “What is the Church?”
Beginning Sunday, Sept. 6, regular Bible studies will be at 9:30 a.m. and worship services at 10:30 a.m.
