The second annual 4-H Communications Day event will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Southwestern Community College Room 180. This 4-H event is open to the public.
Communications Day is an opportunity for local 4-H’ers to show off a talent, give a presentation or demonstrate making a craft with an audience. There are six different categories available for 4-H’ers to participate in. They include: educational presentation, Share the Fun, working exhibit, radio broadcasting, extemporaneous speaking and poster communications.
All the events at Communications Day will be judged by two judges and deserving groups will be selected to represent Union County at the Iowa State Fair in August. All participants will be invited to showcase their work during the Union County Fair 6 p.m. July 22 in the commercial building.
