HARLAN — The Valley girls fired 29 shots to Harlan’s 13 in a 3-1 victory Wednesday night. The victory puts Nodaway Valley/West Central Valley/Adair-Casey with a regular season record of 12-2. They host Creston in the first round of regionals June 2.
“We had some great crosses from Abby Miller that our forwards just couldn’t get a foot on,” head coach Michael Krawczyk said. “We came out and played well all night.”
Emily Schildberg and Hannah Link split time in the net for the Valley girls, combining for 10 saves.
