Norma Wolf, 86, of Creston died May 23, 2015, at Greater Regional Medical Center.

Celebration of life services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, at Orient United Methodist Church. The Rev. Cathy Nutting will officiate. Burial will be in Orient Cemetery, north of Orient. Open visitation will be 2 to 7 p.m. today with family present 5 to 7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, junction of highways 34 and 25. Norma Faye (Munyon) Wolf, daughter of Ella Fay (Woods) and James Munyon, was born March 24, 1929, in Grand River.

Norma graduated from Grand River High School in 1946. She went on to be trained as a licensed practical nurse and worked in Colorado, Osceola and later in Creston.

On July 6, 1957, Norma married Clarence “Buzz” Wolf in Kent. They settled in Creston, where Norma worked in OB at Greater Community Hospital in Creston. Norma went on to work at Creston Manor for 20 years.

Norma was a member of Crest Baptist Church and Eagles Auxiliary, both of Creston.

Norma is survived by her daughters, Janet (husband Drew) McCartney of Plattsmouth, Neb., Jacque Jones of Alexandria, Minn., Jo Wolf of Creston and Janelle (husband Kenny) Kralik of Orient; son-in-law Arden Jones of Green Bay, Wis.; nine grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 2006; brothers, Dennis and Dale Munyon; and sister Bonnie Schrodt.
