Ryan Lee Woosley, 31, of Orient was charged with probation violation of an original charge of first-degree theft 1:31 p.m. May 19 in Adair County.

Woosley was released on $500 bond.

Connie Jae Emgarten, 46, of Casey was charged on an Adair County warrant for driving while license was denied or revoked 4:02 p.m. May 19 in Adair County.

Emgarten was released on $1,000 bond.

Jeffrey Scott Tuttle, 55, of Fontanelle was charged with first-degree harassment and simple domestic abuse assault 9:13 p.m. Friday in Adair County.

According to an Adair County Sheriff report, Tuttle committed simple domestic abuse assault by physically contacting another, which was insulting and offensive to another, coupled with the apparent ability to execute the act. Tuttle committed harassment in the first degree by involving a threat to commit a forcible felony. Tuttle intimidated and alarmed another by saying he would kill the person.

Tuttle was released on $2,000 bond.

Brandon Lee Edwards, 21, of Sioux City was charged with driving while barred 6:18 p.m. Saturday in Adair County.

According to an Adair County Sheriff report, officers, while in full uniform in a fully marked patrol car, observed a green Pontiac Grand Prix pass them while on Interstate 80. Officers were able to observe a defective windshield so they initiated a traffic stop. Upon approach, the driver, Edwards, advised that he did not have a license because he was suspended. He then handed officers an identification card. After it was checked, it was determined Edwards’ license showed a status of barred. Edwards was then taken into custody and transported to Adair County Jail.

Edwards was released on $2,000 bond.
