Boys rankings

CEDAR RAPIDS — There is little area change in the latest boys soccer rankings, released on Tuesday, by the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association.

Carroll Kuemper Catholic, which clinched the Hawkeye 10 championship on Monday, remains No. 5 in Class 1A. Glenwood is still 11th in Class 2A, while Council Bluffs St. Albert dropped a spot to 11th in Class 1A.

No. 8 ADM and No. 11 Glenwood are in the same Class 2A substate as Creston (8-7).

Girls rankings

St. Albert and Tri-Center moved up in the latest girls soccer rankings, released by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.

The Saintes are eighth in Class 1A, one spot behind Tri-Center. Lewis Central stays seventh in Class 2A.

No. 1 Nevada, No. 13 North Polk and No. 14 Gilbert are in the same substate as Creston and Nodaway Valley/West Central Valley/Adair-Casey. Creston and the Valley girls meet in the regional opener Jun 2 in Greenfield.
