Adair County Sheriff

Cassandra Nichole Peterson, 21, of Stuart, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia 11:26 a.m. Wednesday in Adair County.

Genevieve Marie Standeven, 21, of Stuart, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia 12:11 p.m. Wednesday in Adair County.

According to an Adair County Sheriff report, on Wednesday, troopers responded to a vehicle that was turned over in a ditch. Upon further investigation of the accident, an address from a prescription was found leading officers to 615 Southwest Seventh St. in Stuart. When one of the residents, Standeven, stepped outside, there was an overwhelming odor of marijuana. Standeven admitted that there was marijuana inside the apartment. Standeven was asked to turn over the marijuana, and she brought the troopers a brown rolled paper that is believed to be marijuana. Standeven then woke up Peterson. Both subjects were asked if there were any other drugs or paraphernalia. Both Standeven and Peterson went and retrieved multiple pipes and bongs. Both admitted the marijuana and paraphernalia were jointly shared.

Peterson and Standeven were both released on $1,000 bond.

Jessica Jo England, 31, of Creston, was charged with second-degree harrassment 9:53 p.m. Wednesday in Adair County.

England was released on $1,000 bond.

Ryan Lee Woosley, 31, of Orient, was charged with second-degree theft 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Adair County.

Woosley was being held on $5,000 bond.

Mason Cole Hasty, 21, of Stuart, was charged with assault with injury and fourth-degree criminal mischief 6:03 p.m. Thursday in Adair County.

According to an Adair County Sheriff report, Hasty knowingly and intentionally damaged another’s property and knowingly commited an assault, causing bodily injury by striking the victim in the face with his fists.

Hasty was released on own recognizance after inital appearance.

Lynn Wilson Spurbeck Jr., 60, of Thompson, was charged with probation violation 12 a.m. Friday in Winnebago County.

Spurbeck was being held without bond.

Connie Jae Emgarten, 46, of Casey, was charged with driving while revoked 11:54 a.m. Friday in Adair County.

Emgarten was released on $1,000 bond.
