Winterset triangular
WINTERSET — Nodaway Valley won the boys competition in triangular action with Van Meter and West Central Valley at Winterset Thursday, shooting 171 for a four-stroke victory over Van Meter.
Handicap holes broke a three-way tie for medalist among Nodaway Valley’s Colton Garside and Jackson Lamb along with Van Meter’s Dillon Smith. Smith got medalist based on the fourth handicap hole over Garside.
On the girls side, Nodaway Valley was missing a golfer and was unable to have a team score, but Lizz Hansen continued to show improvement by missing on medalist contention by two shots with her 53.

Cole Campbell took home medalist honors with a 39. Caleb Lang of Lenox was runner-up, shooting a 42.

BEDFORD — Medalist Cole Campbell shot a 38 to lead East Union boys to a victory over Bedford and Central Decatur Monday night.
The Eagles shot a team score of 170 to CD’s 189. Bedford did not have a team score.
Reilly Martinez of East Union was runner-up medalist in the girls competition with a 57.
