PELLA — Thirty-eight Central College psychology students were accepted to present their scholarly research at the annual Midwestern Psychological Association (MPA) conference in Chicago April 30-May 2. Central graduates were also selected to present research in the professional program alongside Ph.D and graduate students. This is a record number and a great achievement for all students.
Allison Wood of Prescott was chosen to present research titled “The Effects of Positive Self-Talk and Personality on Athletic Performance” with collaborative professor Keith Jones.
