Clinic change
The Creston Baseball/Softball Association pitching/catching clinic for fourth and fifth grade boys will be held Wednesday at Burton R. Jones (Early Childhood Center) gymnasium, rather than the Middle School Storm gym as previously announced.
“This way we can use the nets and other equipment down there to make the night run more smoothly,” said Scott Driskell, league president.
The schedule is set up for the boys session at 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., and the girls softball session from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Disc golf
An indoor disc golf tournament was held Saturday evening at the Southwestern Community College Student Center.
Top scores were turned in by Jason Abdulbaki 45; Billy Graham and Joel Wires each 46; Austin Smith, Kyle Jennett and Steven Pickrell each 47; and Kevin DeBoer, Tyler Helm and Aaron Kephart each 48.
