Jerry J. Madden, 75, of Holland, Mich., died Dec. 8, 2014, at home.
Jerry J. Madden, son of Eleanor (Davenport) and Raymond C. Madden, was born Oct. 12, 1939, in Shannon City.
Jerry moved to Creston, attended grade school, and graduated from high school in 1957.
Jerry worked at Center Milk Company. He moved to Colorado. He moved back to Creston in 1965, and then moved to Des Moines. Jerry attended school at AIB.
In May 1967, Jerry married Carol Hanner of Stuart in Omaha, Neb. The couple lived in Des Moines.
They moved to Portland, Ore., and lived there almost 30 years. Jerry then moved to Las Vegas, Nev., and several years later moved to Holland, Mich.
Jerry is survived by his wife Carol; daughter Gwyn; grandson Frank; and pet Boomer, all of Holland, Mich.; sister Linda Clark of Phoenix, Ariz.; brothers, Duane (Marion) of Fairbault, Minn., and Wayne (Angela) of Creston; many nieces and nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; son Jeff in 1987; and brother-in-law Fay Clark.
