For those who have not already eaten lunch at the Cromwell Congregational Church, folks in the Creston area and surrounding communities are missing a real opportunity. It is an excellent meal at a modest price of $7 including drink and supports the Cromwell Congregational Church women.
This is not a church I attend, and I do not want this letter to be construed as a solicitation on behalf of this church, but I do appreciate the efforts these women (and a few men) put forth to provide an excellent meal. However, without our support, another fine endeavor may disappear. The event is held the first Thursday of Nov., Dec., Feb. and March at precisely 12:00 noon.
In closing, I urge all who can to support all churches in the area in their fund raising projects as increased costs of operation and dwindling funds has become a very large issue to all of them and these events are an excellent way to make up the loss.
