Donald Barnes, 63, 231 S. Chestnut St., was charged with third-degree harassment 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at his residence.
According to a Creston Police report, at 11 a.m. Saturday, officers were dispatched to 200 Russell St. in reference to a male harassing an individual. Upon arrival, officers spoke with William Keller and Barnes. Keller said Barnes got out of his vehicle and shouted at Keller. There is a no-contact letter between the two. While officers were on scene, Barnes yelled at Keller that Barnes was going to kick Keller’s ass. Keller and a witness filled out statements.
Barnes was released on a promise to appear.

Bobbie Jo Wilson, 36, 506 W. Prairie St., was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Union County Law Enforcement Center.
According to a Creston Police report, at Union County Law Enforcement Center Monday, a citizen turned in a purse that had been left at McKinley Park. Inside the purse was an Iowa driver’s license with Wilson’s name on it. There were several credit cards with Wilson’s name on them also. Inside a zip-up part of the purse, officers located a glass pipe commonly used to smoke marijuana, and a plastic bag with a green leafy substance. Wilson came to the law center to claim the purse. Wilson said it was her purse, and the pipe was also hers.
Wilson was released on a promise to appear.
