No citations were issued after an accident 1:38 p.m. Tuesday on North Cherry Street.
According to a Creston Police report, Kathleen Lee Barnes, 57, 1103 N. Cherry St., driving a 1995 Chevrolet, backed out of a driveway on North Cherry into a 2001 Chevrolet driven north on North Cherry by Edward Alan Berg, 61, of Orient. The passenger in Berg’s vehicle said her neck hurt, was asked several times if she wanted to see the paramedics and said no. The passenger was going to visit the hospital to be checked out.
Damage estimates are $1,000 to Barnes’ vehicle and $2,000 to Berg’s vehicle.
