Hawkeye 10 Meet

COUNCIL BLUFFS — Both the Creston girls and boys middle school cross country teams placed fifth here on Oct. 16 at the Hawkeye 10 Conference Meet.

There were eight scoring girls teams and seven scoring boys teams.

Brielle Baker led the Panther girls with an eighth-place finish in 14:59.66 on the 3K course. Sydney Hartsock just missed a top-20 finish by placing 21st in 16:07.79.

Matthew Rouh paced the Creston boys with his fifth-place finish in 13:57.73. Derek Bloodgood finished 20th in 15:24.51.
