Sleep apnea seminar offered

Sleep apnea is a common concern for many individuals. Sleep disorders often are not recognized and those experiencing sleep difficulties are frequently not aware of treatment options. Poor sleep can impact many medical conditions thus making a restful night’s sleep important to one’s overall good health.

Greater Regional Pulmonary/Sleep Medicine Center will offer a free educational session for the public noon Nov. 5 in the Medical Arts Plaza conference room. Individuals with questions about sleep will find this program an opportunity to learn more about sleep apnea and treatment options.

Dr. Annie Nawab, a board certified internal medicine physician with board certification in sleep medicine, will present an educational seminar on Recognition and Management of Sleep Apnea. Lunch will be served for participants.

To preregister, call 641-782-3828 before Nov. 4.
